How to Practice Stage 1

Step 1) Using the task number as a prompt, write out the number and immediately create an Ideogram.

Step 2) Write down descriptions of your ideograms motion using the following list of key words:

Curving up
Curving down
Curving diagonal down
Curving diagonal up
Diagonal up
Diagonal down
Horizontal Across
Vertical up
Vertical down
Curving around
Curving over
Curving under
Peak
Looping
Gap

Step 3) Write down your first spontaneous feeling descriptor for the ideogram from the following list:

Hard
Soft
Liquid
Airy
Semi-soft
Semi-hard

Step 4) Write down your first spontaneous gestalt for the ideogram from the following list:

Land
Structure
Water
